Wordle is a very popular daily game that involves people using their word unscrambling skills in order to find the daily word of the puzzle. Players are given six chances to find the five-letter word that could be any word in the English dictionary. The puzzle includes colors on the letters to represent whether the letter is in the word at all or if the letter is in the word and in the right place. Yellow represents that the letter is in the word, and green represents that the letter is in the word and in the correct spot.
Wordle doesn’t require players to have a New York Times subscription, so anyone can play. A subscription to the New York Times does give benefits for Wordle, though. It allows players to save Wordle progress to multiple devices and allows people to access different Wordle puzzles other than the daily Wordle.
To always get the word in Wordle, a strong starting word is essential. For example, audio or raise. These are good starting words for Wordle because of the number of vowels in the word. These words help uncover the potential vowels in one try.
Next, choose the second word wisely. Don’t use a random guess for the second word. The word should contain the letters that were uncovered in the first guess or none of the letters from the first guess, depending on what was discovered in the first guess.
On the third guess, the word should almost be revealed. On the third guess, think of frequently used letters and word patterns. Like words ending in er, ate, etc. Also, if possible, avoid using repeating letters until the very end because the repeating letter could take up a place where a new letter for the word could be discovered.
Then, think of commonly used words for the final Wordle word. Most of the time, the Wordle would use words that are commonly seen and could be really simple. Additionally, don’t overthink it. Most of the time, people get frustrated and try to speed through the Wordle, but using strategy and taking as much time as needed is very important.
