As spring sports begin, the boys’ tennis senior captains are all stoked for the upcoming season.
The first Boys Varsity tennis match was on Monday, March 30, against Holliston High School at the Goodwill Tennis Courts. The score was 5-0.

The Mustangs were looking for revenge against the Panthers because the last time they faced off, the Mustangs had lost both times.
Senior Captain Shreyansh Prajapati isn’t sure about how the season will go, knowing how last season went.
“I’m not sure what’s in store for us this season, but we’ve lost a lot of seniors, and they were key contributors to our team last year”.
Although the Mustangs did lose key Seniors that brought them 4 wins last year, the Mustangs are determined to win even more games than last year.

The Boys have been working very hard this year. They are ready to make an impact on the Boys Tennis Team.
Senior Captain Trevor Lovell has been seeing the boys work even harder than last year, even when having obstacles in the way.
“I’ve seen the team work even harder than last year, and I’m sure we’ll win more games than last year. It’s also been harder on us since we don’t have the Coakley Middle School tennis courts to practice on.”
Lovell isn’t going to let his team back down from the obstacles ahead.
The Coakley tennis courts have helped them in the previous seasons with practices, and without them, it’ll definitely be an obstacle that they will have to overcome.
Setting aside the obstacles, the Mustangs are looking forward to winning more games than last year, with more boys on the team.
Senior Captain James Saulnier is confident that the Boys will win more games this year than last year.
“Everyone in Norwood High School should look forward to seeing the Boys Tennis Team win much more game this year,” he said.
The Mustangs are going to play their heart out for the fans and in hopes of winning more games than last year.
