Ingredients (for one batch or about 24 cookies):
- 1 cup of softened salted butter
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of brown sugar (could substitute it for white sugar)
- 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract (could substitute it for a splash of milk)
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 cups of chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix the softened butter with the sugars until fully combined.
- Add the eggs and the vanilla extract (or a splash of milk) and mix.
- Mix in the dry ingredients until dough-like.
- Add chocolate chips and mix.
- Scoop 2-3 tablespoons of dough at a time and place them on your cookie sheets evenly spaced out.

- Bake in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the sides start to brown.
- After baking, let them cool on the baking pan for a few minutes before removing them.
