Despite what the title may lead you to believe, Slayyyter’s “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA” is a near-flawless dance, club, and electronic album full of ridiculous lyrics, incredible production,

Slayyyter released her fourth studio album “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA” on March 27, 2026, following a 7-month promotional period where five of the songs on the album were released as singles.
The album opens with “DANCE…” which can only be described as a psychedelic trip in the form of a song.
Slayyyter’s vocals ebb and flow in and out of calmness, all while maintaining the same oddly soft vocal tone. “DANCE…” has a very unique feel that acts as the perfect opener for this album in its general strangeness.
Following is “BEAT UP CHANEL$” which is surprisingly vulnerable for an album of this genre.
The lyrics explore Slayyyter wanting nice things but not being able to afford them, so she’ll take old, beat-up, luxury items as long as they’re real.
This song is a somewhat standard club song, but it’s just all around incredible. The production is simple, it’s loud and electronic as a club song should be, but it’s not too much. The inclusion of an electric guitar in the song’s chorus instrumental is fascinating, and the vocal distortion is fun.
“I get so gay off that tequila” is a line I could have never anticipated.
The fifth song on the album, “CRANK,” features this gem as well as “Richard, we should link later” in reference to the prolific film director Richard Linklater.
The word I would use to describe “CRANK” is foolish.
The lyrics are a collection of funny, mostly unconnected, lines that feel like Tweets from your gay Twitter mutual who never has anything of substance to Tweet about. This song also uses very heavy distortion, but in this case, it’s to enhance the song’s insanity instead of just being there for fun.
“BRITTANY MURPHY.” closes the album, and although it has a quite different vibe from the rest of the tracks, it feels like a natural progression.
This track adds elements of pop, reaching back to Slayyyter’s roots as a mainly pop artist, while still maintaining the album’s electronic sound. Similar to the rest of the album, it’s just a lot of fun. Slayyyter is incredible at creating songs with atmospheres that can’t be put into words easily and this is just another example.
Overall: 9.5/10
“WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA” is an album that only Slayyyter could release. Compared to her previous projects, this one feels much more authentically her. There really isn’t anything negative to say about this album; all around, it’s just incredible. It’s fun, the production is unique, and the lyrics are hilarious.
