Over September 5, 6, and 7, the Norwood High School Drama Department put on three shows of “Mamma Mia!” After a long summer of rehearsing, the cast of “Mamma Mia!” reflected on their time spent and the outcome of the show.
From the end of June to the beginning of September, the cast of “Mamma Mia!” worked tirelessly to bring the magic of the show to life.

“Rehearsals started the day after school ended, and we just got right into it. And we were there Monday through Friday, 9 to 2 or 9 to 3. It’s a really big commitment, but it’s always so worth it,” said Sophomore Gigi Lundin.
It is no surprise that the show turned out as spectacular as it did, with the Saturday and Sunday shows being nearly sold out.
“Everybody’s acting decisions were so well thought out and everything just came together after we worked so hard over the summer”, says Sophomore Margeaux Deeks.
The cast, relieved after their performance went so well, looked back on the experience as something they are grateful for and something they will remember for years to come.

“It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my entire life,” says Sophomore Angelina Giovangelo.
“It was just a really good show, and I think that a lot of positive things came out from it. I’m so grateful I got to work with so many people and got to perform,” Giovangelo continued.
