Style on the Hill occurred on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Let’s uncover what there was to see!

Style on the Hill is an annual event in the Norwood High School auditorium that allows seniors to show off their stunning prom outfits. This year, the event was hosted by seniors Maya Hall and Angie Haynes. Judges Cynthia Derrane, Matthew Curran, Anne Marie Wagner, and Abby Curran got the pleasure of judging who made the best impression on the stage.

Jason DelliCarpini, a senior participant, shared his opinions on what it means to be in Style on the Hill.
Participating in Style on the Hill allows students to express themselves through fashion and connects Norwood High School as a community. DelliCarpini notes that it brings together diverse backgrounds and styles.
“It means a lot, we can showcase our talents and kind of show off how well we can be dressed,” DelliCarpini shared.
The energy inside the auditorium made this night memorable, and this yearly tradition was live-streamed on NCM, so everyone could watch.
As the night progressed, participants continued to present their prom statement pieces, with some having matching themes, like Anthony Riccardi and his friend Vinny Lopez, who had been preparing all week.
“We’re completely ready for this!” Anthony Riccardi commented. “Style means everything to me. I always loved fashion, [it’s] one of my favorite things in the world, it means the world to me.”
Style on the Hill is about looks and presentation. The judges for the show that night were NHS faculty, Cynthia Derrane, Matthew Curran, Anne Marie Wagner, and Junior Abby Curran.
Sparkly dresses were the trend this year with many going for the sparkly, eye-catching look.
Matthew Curran claimed he was “blinded by the sparkles” during the performance.
Participants showed a love and passion for fashion. Not only did they get to show off their outstanding outfits, but they also got to strut in with a song of their choice.
Jason Dellicarpini’s advice for future participants is, “just have fun and don’t worry about what you look like, you’re gonna stand out.”
